Grocery Stores
With razor-thin margins and up to ~60% of a store’s energy consumption from HVAC and refrigeration, maintaining equipment efficiency and performance is critical.
Grocery, convenience, restaurants and retail — and the property and facilities teams who answer for all of them. What changes by industry is the load on the equipment and the cadence it needs. What doesn’t change is that our own technicians do the work, on schedule, at every location on the list.
Each of these industries puts a different load on their HVAC equipment. Leaning on 60+ years’ experience, we develop a service program and cadence for the greatest impact.
Tenants and clients judge the work by what comes back from it. Every visit is documented with before-and-after photos and site-level reporting in ReportLink™, so you can prove the work was done when they ask.
Each service program is planned, self-performed by our own technicians, and documented per visit in ReportLink™

Our technicians take photos and document what they find on every service visit. They take before and after photos of the work they perform on each unit, and capture and log other things they find while on site. These site issues range anywhere from holes on the roof, to safety-related concerns like a broken roof hatch, to issues that require immediate attention like a frozen coil.
All site issues go into ReportLink™ with photos, notes and location detail, so a regional facilities or operations manager can review and take action. It also provides a record that compliance or facilities may need to evidence that the service program ran at a given site on a given date.
Our technicians identify around 40k+ site issues a year, and every one of them reaches our customers unpriced. BFC does planned work only and never quotes a repair, so the issues found and reported are not written by anyone who stands to gain from it.
Tell us about your sites and we’ll build a planned HVAC program that scales.
